Now that Thanksgiving is here, it is time to make plans for the holiday rush. Things do get a bit hectic at the lab during this season, so we are publishing our schedule showing the dates that we will need your orders to make sure they are delivered to you in plenty of time. As always, we'll do our best to accomodate any special needs that may arise. The schedule is in pdf format so that you can print a copy for yourself.

We will be closed on Thursday, November 22. but open on the 23rd.  We hope you enjoy the day.

                          LEARNING NEVER STOPS

If we are to stay competitive in this day and time, we must never stop learning. We would like to call your attention to several valuable learning opportunity events in the very near future.

1. Bradford Rowley seminars. Bradford will be presenting in six US cities, plus Canada and Australia in early 2019. Registration begins on December 1st. His seminars usually sell out quickly.  See full details and get your name on a priority list now.

2. The Texas School has long had the reputation of being one of the best values in photographic education. It is an intense week of learning and fun. Registration begins at 11:00 PM on January 3rd. Many classes fill up within minutes, so be ready.

3. Imaging USA will be held in Atlanta January 17-19, 2019 and provides a great opportunity to learn and build relationships with other photographers. Imaging USA also features a big trade show. Registration is now open.  If you can't make it for the entire event, get your FREE Expo pass here.

4. Intentional Business Mind workshop with instructors Brad Cansler and Stan Lawrence. Once a year they offer a 4-day workshop that is designed to help you develop strategies to consistently connect and communicate with your clients emotionally. Ensuring they will understand the value in what you have to offer.

For many of our clients, Mid-South is "their lab". Some of our clients, however, use more than one lab. They may send their higher-end and large print work to us and smaller prints to another lab that may be slightly lower price or provide free shipping. That is understandable if it works for them and they get the level of quality they need. Please know that we appreciate every order we receive. However, we see many advantages to sending us all of your work. Here is the 2nd of 5 reasons.

Combine orders for shipping. Some labs charge an order entry fee to help offset the ever-rising cost of shipping. We, on the other hand, do not make such a charge and our shipping charges are based on actual FedEx charges. And, just recently, due to our increased shipping volume, our shipping rates have been greatly reduced.  In most cases, we can ship more than one order in a carton, thus saving even more money.  In addition, our Partnership Rewards rebates  may well offset your shipping costs.

More reasons in future newsletters.  However, if you want to hear all of them now, please call us!

As a time saver for you and for extra pizazz when we drop ship for you, we are pleased to offer boutique packaging. The boxes are chocolate brown with a cream ribbon. The tissue paper is a gold pattern. Available in sizes 5x7, 8x10 and 11x14. On orders of mixed sizes, we place all prints in the largest box. The cost is $7.25 per order.
